Trekkers without a booking are being turned away or put in dining halls. - Book 2–3 days ahead, through your guide or by phoning the teahouse from Chhomrong or Bamboo. - Below Himalaya you can usually find a room on the day. - Solo trekkers may be asked to share a room when it's busy.
